Streatham Youth and Community Trust hosted a comedy event at the Hideaway Live venue on Wed, 4 June featuring Russell Howard, Andy Zaltzman and Tiffany Stephenson. The event raised over £4500 to support the work of children and young people in Streatham. The sold out event was the first of its kind for SYCT.
The evening started with doors opening at 6.30 PM giving guests a chance to order food and drink and soak up the atmosphere. By the time Andy Zaltzman opened the evening there was a full house of expectant fans. Many of the attendees had no previous experience of our work so inbetween sets SYCT took the opportunity to give a brief talk about out work. All three comedians were very well received.
