The summer holidays are fast approaching and the SYCT are planning many exciting projects for the members to partaking in over the six weeks, but such events won’t run so smoothly with out the extra help from volunteers.
We are looking for anyone who has an interest in youth work or has experience in youth work. It will be over a six week period Monday to Friday, 10-4pm, between two venues, Streatham Vale Adventure Play Ground and John Corfield Centre, Conyers road. For more information and registration forms please contact Mark Wood by email: markw.syct@btinternet.com We look forward to hearing from you! ![]() The Sun is Shining and so is SYCT’s new Sunshine Coach! With the help of Variety, The Children’s Charity and Premier Fruits, the sponsors towards the coach, SYCT were able to purchase a much needed coach to replace an older one, which could no longer cater to the many needs of the young members, so on the 27th June a few of the staff and youth members travelled down to Stoke Park Golf Club to collect their new Sunshine Coach. Three of our young members, Sophie Lea-Gerrard, Sophie Manzie and Kieran Roberts were able to attend the event that kicked off after 4pm. They were able to get their pictures taken with the likes of Boy George, Russ Abbott and Len Goodman before the keys were handed over to Sophie Lea-Gerrard by the Chairmen of Premier Fruits, Jason Tanner. The three members later thanked the team from Premier Fruits for their donation towards the new Coach. |
