Adventure Playground games included treasure hunt, slip n’ slide, bush craft, den building, tree swings, dress up, cooking, games, art, as well as trips out to ice-skating, go-karting, cinema and bowling. The Drama Camp, led by Creative Director Craig Blake, gave a wide age-range of children the skills to create their own play. A fantastic performance for friends and family was held in the professional theatre space at Dunraven School. The Sports Camp, at the John Corfield Centre, gave young people the opportunity to gain skills and develop physical fitness. Sports included athletics, taekwondo, football, cricket, trampoline and badminton. Fishing was a new and exciting addition to the summer. A big thank you to all who supported us by donating and volunteering.
Local children and young people enjoyed a fun-filled summer at our three venues, Streatham Vale Adventure Playground, John Corfield Centre (Sports Camp) and the Wellfield Centre (Drama Camp). The Adventure Playground ran drop-in sessions for those looking for more informal play.
